HOD's Message
Department of ECE is one of the circuit branches in Engineering and is a pioneer department of this institution. ECE department is dedicated to deliver high quality Technical Education to the students. It strives hard to achieve excellence in teaching –learning process. The faculty members are committed and dedicative in joining with Head of Department to fulfil the Vision of reaching academic excellence.
The Laboratories are well equipped to cater to the needs of the students and as per the DOTE syllabus.

The installation of the SMART CLASS ROOMS enables the faculty to improve their teaching methodology and pave the way for better understanding of the concepts by the students.
​
The Technology is racing ahead of us and to catch up with it Seminars and Guest Lectures on emerging Technologies are conducted every semester.
​
To enrich student’s knowledge and develop communication skills they are encouraged to take part in Paper Presentations and Technical Symposiums.
​
In order to flourish in the field of ECE skill oriented Workshops on ‘Basic Electronics’, ‘PLC’, ‘Embedded Systems’, ‘PCB designing’ are conducted during Odd Semesters.

The department takes interest in arranging Industrial Visits thereby exposing them to Industrial environment and to learn Do-hows of an Industry /organisation.

It is emphasized that the student full fill their requirement to complete their Diploma by doing their final year Project work in campus. They are assisted by the faculty members and also external training institution. They are motivated to take part in the state level project competitions conducted by several other Polytechnic and Engineering Colleges. Thereby the Students of ECE emerge as technologically superior and of high ethics.

Students are given counselling and special coaching the and there whenever required. Hence, none of the students are left to go astray.
Students are also molded to grab the opportunities in extracurricular activities and sports to emerge as mulifunctioalities.
The termination of these efforts had been the achievement of placement to the students in leading Organisations and reputed companies.

The Department of ECE also offers Diploma in Part Time as per the DOTE syllabus. The classes are conducted in the evening from 6p.m to 9p.m . Many employed persons are benefitted by completing their Diploma and step forward in their career through promotions.
